When bratty 8-year-old Kevin acts out before a family trip to Paris, his mother makes him sleep in the attic. When the family leaves mistakenly without him, Kevin awakens to an empty house. Two con men plan to rob the house and Kevin devises ingenious plans to protect the family home.
