To our shock we discovered that there was a major hole in the market on this subject; sure there were films that may contain subplots of a lonely character\, or show a rose-colored glasses version of life in retirement communities\, but none that formed an entire storyline over a character struggling in their day to day life with the pain of Loneliness. It was at that moment we knew this film had to be made. Pulling from the real world experiences of the creative team\, and from countless interviews and testimonies of those struggling with Loneliness in today’s world. We at Revelation Cinema have created a story that is timely and honest and are dedicated to bring this film onto screens around the world very soon. This is Lonely.”
