DESCRIPTION:Firebringer: A New Stone Age Musical\nfrom StarKid Productions\npresented by Players on High Summer Camp 2024 \nPerformances:\nFriday\, August 16 @ 7PM\nSaturday August 17 @ 7PM \nThis musical theatre performance camp features over 20 youth\, grades 9-12. Our students work with industry professional instructors in vocal\, theatre and dance performance to produce a full musical in 2 weeks. Support theatre education by industry professionals by purchasing your $12 ticket today. This show is recommended for ages 13 and older. Run time is 2 hours\, including a 10 minute intermission. \n“At the dawn of humanity\, one tribe of cave-people survives the many trials of prehistoric life under the wise leadership of Jemilla\, The Peacemaker. Jemilla taught her people to express themselves\, rather than bashing each others’ heads with rocks and eating each others’ babies. But one member of the tribe doesn’t seem to fit in: Zazzalil. She’s always trying to invent things to make life easier… for herself. While out hatching her latest scheme\, Zazzalil stumbles upon the most important discovery in history. One that will pit her tribe against wooly mammoths\, saber-toothed tigers\, and change the world forever. She’ll travel from omega to alpha\, and become… the Firebringer!”
