SUMMARY:Excuse My French…Literally! — Written & Performed by Amandine Pope
DESCRIPTION:Excuse My French…Literally!\nWritten & Performed by Amandine Pope\nProduced by Carlisle Theatre & Amandine PopeThursday-Saturday: January 8\, 9\, 10 (3 performances only!)\nShow @ 7:30PM | Doors @ 6:30PM\nConcession & Bar Available. In Excuse My French… Literally!\, Amandine shares her unapologetically French take on life across America— from Paris to Pennsylvania and every culture clash in between. With humor\, heart\, and a spark of defiance\, she recounts the hilarious and heartfelt misadventures of building a new life in a language and a world – not her own. From accidentally offending strangers with her honesty to losing (and ultimately reclaiming) her voice through love\, loss\, and resilience\, Amandine reminds us that language is only the beginning of the journey. Whether you’re a language lover\, a fellow outsider\, or just someone who’s ever struggled to fit in\, this one- woman show invites you to laugh\, reflect\, and remember: your true self is always worth holding onto. \nAritst Bio: Amandine Pope is a multidisciplinary artist originally from France\, where she received classical music and theater training at the Conservatory Maurice Ravel. Now based in Pennsylvania\, Amandine’s work spans the performing and visual arts\, including theater\, improv\, chalk artistry\, music\, and storytelling. She began her improv journey in 2019 at the Harrisburg Improv Theater (HIT) and currently performs regularly with the teams Real Fast Coast Wives of Central PA\, The Next Leaver\, and All Over the Place. Her stage credits include Cosmic Trash at Gamut Theatre\, Between Heaven & Eartha with Sankofa AATC\, A Pirate’s Life\, Intimate Apparel\, To Kill A Mockingbird\, and Black Nativity. On film\, she has appeared in Vidjam of Horror 2023 (including Séance\, Malevolent Ceremonies\, and Ghosts and Ghouls of Grandeur)\, The Wager\, and River City Stories. Amandine is also the founder of House of Scapin\, a creative house dedicated to storytelling\, theater\,\nfilm\, and improvisation.

SUMMARY:An Inspector Calls
DESCRIPTION:An Inspector Calls (J.B. Priestly)\npresented by Players on High | Directed by Catie MO\nA blackbox style\, staged reading performance. On stage seating\, limited. $12/ticket. \nNEW DATES!\nFriday\, January 2 @ 7:30pm\nSaturday\, January 3 @ 7:30pm \n“The action of the play occurs in an English industrial city\, where a young girl commits suicide and an eminently respectable British family is subject to a routine inquiry in connection with the death. An inspector calls to interrogate the family\, and during the course of his questioning\, all members of the group are implicated lightly or deeply in the girl’s undoing. The family\, closely knit and friendly at the beginning of the evening\, is shown up as selfish\, self-centered or cowardly\, its good humor turning to acid\, and good fellowship to dislike\, before the evening is over. The surprising revelation\, however\, is in the inspector—who turns out to be no copper at all but a mysterious individual with full knowledge of everyone’s connection with the suicide. After the false inspector has been shown up\, and it is discovered that no suicide had been recorded\, an actual copper shows\, and a last-minute suicide is reported\, which ties in mysteriously with the foregoing.” \nNo refunds. Exchanges permitted if seating is available at the discretion of theatre. For seating options to fit your needs\, please reach out to ticketing@carlisletheatre.] \n

When asked why they didn’t take the impersonation and prop-driven approach\, founder Tom Smith says ‘we wanted to approach the tribute genre as a true live band\, and in (lead vocalist) Chris Chartier we have what no one else has – the most genuine sounding Petty experience in the country.’ The members of the Breakers all come from a background of recording and touring with original bands and perform the music of The Heartbreakers with the same passion and dedication. They have paid tireless attention to detail to each and every song which appeals to both casual and diehard Tom Petty fans alike.”

SUMMARY:TUSK: The Classic Fleetwood Mac Tribute
DESCRIPTION:TUSK: The Classic Fleetwood Mac Tribute\nPresented by Fly On The Wall Concerts\nSaturday | November 8\, 2025 | 8:00PM \n🎟️ Presale: Thursday\, June 19\, 10am\n🎟️ Onsale to Public: Friday\, June 20 @ 10am \n“Tusk has been criss-crossing the country since 2008 as The Ultimate Fleetwood Mac Tribute. But of all the Fleetwood Mac tributes playing around the United States today\, what exactly sets Tusk apart? Is it more than five skilled professionals turned masters of their trade through decades of individual musical study\, live performance\, creative risk\, and devotion to the art? Is it more than their affection and respect for the Fleetwood Mac experience\, an entity that continues to endure over 50 years of musical and cultural evolution? Is it more than vocal similarities\, common physical traits\, or good costumes? To be sure\, one does not fare well in the tribute scene without displaying some or all of these characteristics. So what qualities does Tusk possess that can’t be learned\, bought\, or created simply from a desire to have them? \nChemistry. Synergy. Intuition. \nThe relationship among the five founding members of Tusk has a rich history that goes back more than four decades. Two met while playing Little League baseball. Two others met in middle school band and marched in lockstep through high school. All five have been playing music with one another over the years in various configurations of original bands\, jam bands\, singer-songwriter circles\, and alternative rock groups. Time\, trust\, and close friendship have cultivated an intimate familiarity with each other’s musical nuances\, shaping each performance with such precision that even the slightest variation\, virtually imperceptible to all but the five musicians sharing the stage\, is met with a wink and a nod\, and usually an inside joke. Tusk is more than a band; they are a family. \nExperience the wonder of a Tusk show for yourself.” \nArtist Website | TUSK Facebook \n[This event is produced by a third party promoter as part of our mainstage concert series.]
